Jan Orsag aka DJ YAWN is a Czech-Canadian music producer, DJ & remixer. Rising up through the Vancouver music scene along with recent support from Producer Dojo record label, DJ YAWN is making heads turn with his debut rap-laced basscentric EP ‘Muse’. Out summer 2023 on Producer Dojo.
‘Muse’ is DJ YAWN’s inaugural body of work and serves as a reminder that there are no constraints when it comes to collaboration and the creative flow. As long as you’re willing to surrender yourself and become the vehicle for IT, IT will find you.
The sound of ‘Muse’ is best described as a fusion of hip-hop and EDM, forging a unique feeling of familiarity through low fidelity sound treatment and vocal pop arrangements. Its genre fluidity is a demonstration of the different styles DJ YAWN is comfortable producing in and with support from legends like Pav4n from Foreign Beggars and glitch music originators and mentor ill.Gates, you can bet that DJ YAWN is just getting started.
